The charge key will not work with the Lifeproof cases as the part where it goes onto your key ring interferes with the case design. Other than that, this is a perfect gift for anyone who has an iPhone who uses it a lot.

I am always running out of juice. Even though I have tried carrying cables with me, it's simply not convenient and handy. I often don't have my work bag with me, etc. -- but I always have my keys. And now, I can always have a charger with me.
The one thing I didn't realize is that the key is flexible (i.e. it's not HARD plastic), which makes it even better because it wont poke you in your pocket.

For somebody who is always waking up to a fully charged phone at 8am and somehow managing to near kill it by 5pm, this is an awesome little piece. It's rare that I find myself about town without my keys, and USB ports are far more abundant than iPhone 5 cables. I've only had the Chargekey for 2 weeks now, but so far the consensus is:
Pros:
-(Seemingly) Rugged. I will update in 6 months after it's been battered around with my keys
-Small/lightweight - hardly even notice it on my keyring
Cons:
-The only real con is that it the angle of the cable can be awkward with certain USB ports. On my Mac Mini for instance, which is super flat, the angle of the cable forces it to bend awkwardly with my phone plugged in. This is unavoidable with the design of the device though, if it were a straight cable then your keys would get in the way of the device you are plugging in. So really no cons, just an irreconcilable gripe that occasionally requires a little finagling. All in all a great product.
