I rarely give 5 stars but this little speaker blew me away with sound quality I've not heard in a while. Not only is the mini a stunning, unibody design that feels sturdy but its truly a marvel when you consider the quality of the sound. Pairing to my SG4 was simple and unlike many other Bluetooth speakers the app gives you additional features such as a battery meter.
You can't go wrong with this speaker. I was reluctant due to the price but it truly is worth every penny.

This is one of the best designed portable mini bluetooth speakers currently available.
The Mini Jambox "smart speaker" is easy to use and set up with a rich sound and a solid enclosure. Bluetooth 4.0 (with BTLE - low energy) is a huge plus. USB 24" and 36" stereo cables are included. And because it also includes a microphone you can also use the Mini Jambox as a speaker phone!
I recommend that you connect the speaker to your computer and upgrade it with the optional Jawbone Live Audio software update to experience "3D-like" sound. Live Audio uses BACCH 3D audio technology.
You can also download the iOS or Android Jawbone app to set up, customize and control the mini. The app also has other features that you may want to check out.
Tuck this beauty into your back pocket and dance away while you move around. Best way to experience it though is to place it in front of you on a solid surface.

I have a Soundmatters FoxL which has the same technology as the original Jambox. I have also spent some time with the original Jambox, as it proved a great gift for the mother-in-law. Based on my first week with the Mini Jambox, I am very pleased with the purchase. I probably won't carry it in pants pockets, but the thinner design is welcome. The small rubber feet on each corner keep it stationary even at elevated volumes, (the FoxL will dance its way off the table at moderate volume). Overall, the build quality is near iPhone 5, although the Jawbone label looks like an afterthought. The clear anodized finish matches Apple aluminum very well. Pairing was straightforward. Speakerphone quality is very good in my limited experience.
The prerelease reviews that I read suggested the sound quality of the Mini is either the same or near that of the Original. I haven't done an extensive side-by-side, but would agree with this basic characterization. I have several dedicated audio systems, so my expectations are focused on its portability and not room filling volumes. So far, I'm very pleased.
