Great case, from a protection standpoint. From a functionality standpoint, not so great.

Awesome phone case. It is clearly shock/ waterproof as stated. Unfortunately, there are some major issues with it.
1. The both sets of speakers are severely muffled.
-both the in call and default audio speakers are at a fraction of their normal volume with this case on.
-the in call audio speaker (the one located towards the top of the phone) is already pretty quiet. This case makes it virtually impossible to hear anything when calling. You have to put it on speaker phone in order to hear even the slightest vocal.
-to fix this issue, the speaker covering on the case has a little black film on the underside. I poked holes in it to allow sound to emit. Unfortunately this takes away from the water resistance somewhat.
2. Being a graphic designer, i use this phone for a lot of my work, which requires the use of the S-Pen. When the case is on, the S Pen is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to get out.
-To fix: I unscrewed the case and pulled the pen out. Then i took a few pieces of thread and pretty much turned it into a tiny rope and tied it around the big indention at the top of the S Pen. This is likely only temporary, as thread is not very durable.
3. This one is more of a nit picky thing. You may not have notice the logo towards the upper right of of the phone, but there is an engraving there Reading, "LOVE MEI".(it actually appears as though theyve poorly photoshopped the engraving out of some of their preview pictures. Maybe its just me, but it looks smudged where the engraving is supposed to be. And in some of the ones that show the engraving, it is blurred as if to cover up how hideous it is.) I absolutely hate the way it looks, and I feel it takes away from the sleek, and overall pleasing aesthetics of the case. Plus, its just kind of awkward to have engraved on the case.
-I will probably carefully fill in the engravings with fiberglass and then paint over it with a white gloss since its bothering me.
4. They sent me the wrong color. I got white instead of black/white
5. When contacting customer service, they gave the answer of a silver tongued politician and completely avoided answering my direct inquiry.
6. Shipping took 2 weeks
7. This is not an issue with me, as i have big hands; but some of you may not like that this case makes the phone tremendously bulky and much heavier. Keep in mind that this is a metal case, so the extra weight is implied.

Enough of being a negative nancy, here are some positive things:
1. The case in virtually indestructible. Im confident that if dropped from outer space, this bad boy could wipe out humanity like an asteroid.
2.The silicone backing fits snugly, and the aluminum casing in screwed in to secure it very well. Im not afraid If i drop it. I threw it across my house to try it out. Not a scratch.
3. The layer of gorilla glass puts my fear of cracking my screen to rest. This bad boy could take a bullet from Rambo and still work. Just kidding, but it is strong. And the phone sensors still pick up finger movement and S Pen movement very well.
4.All of the buttons work well with the case on. Both the touch screen buttons(back, settings), and the actual physical buttons(volume, power, home).
5. I would once again like to reiterate that this thing is built like a tank. The metal covering for the auxiliary port is a nice touch.
6. The price is great. I didnt buy insurance on my baby, so this thing will be my insurance. Its way stronger than an otterbox; no cheap plastics are used. And it is much cheaper than an otterbox, because you arent paying for the name brand.

Thats all I got. Hope my rating was helpful in you choosing your phone case. Id say if some of the cons dont bother you as much as they bother me, go ahead and buy it. But there is probably another manufacturer of a case like this somewhere out there that have fixed some of these issues i stated, nitpicky or not...

Great quality but loss of signal

I just got my case (from e-bay) 2 days ago. When I ordered this case 3 weeks ago, there were little to no reviews of this case. I was already familiar with this (kind of case) as I owned an iPhone 5 prior to buying my note 3. I had an aluminum generic Lunatic Taktik which this case is based off of. I can tell you that this case is better made than that. This case is Great quality. They really took their time and paid attention to detail on this case. Every port or hole is covered with some type of film to avoid dust from getting in. They even have seals around any exposed part of the phone to avoid splash of water of dust from getting in This case feels great! I like bulky cases and this is the best by far. But it has way too many flaws more than the iphone 5 case.

1.Loss of data signal. At work I have 4G, but I have not been able to get this signal with the case on. I have been forced to use 3G.

2. Loss of Wi-Fi. At home I notice when I am a few rooms away from my wireless router I often lose signal strength and seems to be weaker than with the case off

3. The worst of it Loss of GPS. I use my note 3 to give me directions when I am driving. The GPS on this is almost nonexistent. This is the biggest bummer for me as I really need on this.

4. S Pen. You must remove the S Pen before installing this case. You can then put the S pen in the phone, but be careful not to push it all the way in as you will not be able to get it back out. The downside to this is that you will always have an icon on letting you know the spen is not in the slot because it won’t be all the way in.

5. Screen, you must remove any screen protector on your phone to keep it from having oil slick affect. This upset me because I had a Glass Spegin screen protector on and ended up removing it for this case. Not too happy about this because if/when I decide to put my speign back on, it will most likely have dust particles stuck to it.

6. The built-in screen protector does not have ant-smudge coating on it. I know because I used a glass screen protector
on my note 3 prior to putting this case on and it did not collect as much finger print marks as this built in screen. The built-in protector appears to be tempered glass, but I highly doubt this this is true Gorilla Glass. I have to keep cleaning the screen.

From all these flaws I can tell you that this case is well made and feels like it will last. I really want to like this case, but I can’t use my phone with it on. I already own a otterbox defender and I truly prefer the workmanship of this Love Mei case over the Otterbox, however again I can’t get past all the drawbacks of this case. It’s a beautiful case, but I can’t seem to feasibly use my phone everyday with it on. I am going to reluctantly remove this work of art off my phone. I will still keep this case as I really do like it and perhaps one day find myself in a situation where I will need this case. The true main reason why I have to remove this case is the loss of GPS signal. I can live with having lower data signal and WiFi because ultimately I still have a signal and can use my phone. But if I am driving around and lost, I need to have GPS. I am not going to pull over and unscrew this case each time I need GPS.

If anyone can find a trick to fixing this issue, please let me know and I will happily put this bad boy back on.

Falls short of expectations.

Impossible to properly attach and detach s-pen. The case makes the phone feel like you're carrying a 5lb weight. Overall, too heavy and the s-pen is rendered useless which is a huge let down.
