3Doesn't live up to its awesome looks.
By Joseph Zapert
I wanted to love this mouse. It looks great, is sleek and, because of its slender profile, slips easily into netbook sleeves. The touch surface is silky, but its looks set higher expectations than it can meet.

The particular shape ends up being uncomfortable. I'm a guy, but I'd say my hand size is average. My ring finger grips the thin, metal edge and this is a slightly-uncomfortable feeling that gets more annoying over time.

The click functions require more force than they should. Because of this, right-clicking is iffy. I'm a graphic designer and not an unskilled user, however I find myself left-clicking accidentally a lot. I also wish I could just lightly tap the surface to click, since the mouse has so many other touch gestures. That would help a lot.

Forget about soft surfaces. It's absolutely impossible, because clicking requires so much force. No mouseing on the couch or bed with this.

Touch gestures are iffy. Scrolling responds right away every time, which is nice, but there's little accuracy and it's hard to control the speed. Windows 8 edge swipes are okay, but require you to be careful to keep the mouse stationery while you swipe and that's not all that easy.

So sadly this awesome-looking mouse is going back. Maybe a really casual user, who never wants to use a soft surface, would appreciate it more.

5My new favorite mobile mouse!
By SPC Jung H. Choi
I purchased this mouse to replace the t620. When I purchased my Samsung Ativ 8, I was specifically looking for a bluetooth mouse but I tried several but ended up returning them back to the stores because they did not fit the bill for one reason or another. Some models I tested out were Razer Orochi, MS scuplt comfort, logitech V470, and the MS wedge. I was not pleased with any of them so I settled on the Logitech t620 which is not bluetooth. The t620 was quite neat with the touch gesture interface but it too did not quite fit the bill either. I was getting ready to replace the t620 with another g700 until I saw this mouse advertised on the Logitech website.

Three things quickly drew me to try this mouse: 1. Bluetooth connectivity 2. Gesture control like the t620 3. Its compactness. I've put this mouse hard to work for the last three days and it has definitly kept up with me. On a full charge, it lasted my entire 12 hour workday although the battery level showed at the half way mark at the end of the day. The good news is that from that point, it only takes about 5 minutes to fully charge the little thing. The quick charge is a good thing because you cannot use the mouse as it is charging like my g700. At worst case, I can fully charge this thing during a coffee or a bathroom break.

As far as asthetics and ergonomics, this mouse definitely requires some getting used to. This mouse combines metal and matte plastic top which gives it the look and feel of a much higher quality mouse versus the clunky cheap feel of the t620. I was already familiar with the gesture controls from my last mouse so that was no big issue there. One of the best features on this little thing is it's ability to be paired with two different devices and swith between them on the fly! How cool is that? One for my laptop, the other for my Note 10.1 tab.

In summary, for those of you out there who are gadget geeks like me and have to have the latest and greatest, this mouse definitly needs to be in you collection. I guarantee it will be a conversation piece in your office.

5A mouse that's truly an asset to the mobile work environment
By MChen
All in all, I highly recommend this mouse for all 'on-the-go' laptop users (both mac and pc loyalists) who are looking for a reliable, well built, ultra-portable mouse -with the added bonus of being able to control their two most-used bluetooth devices at a flick of a switch. I've owned this mouse for nearly 3 months now and think that its size and shape are perfect for my move-around work needs and the battery longevity allows me to worry less about accidentally running out of juice after forgetting to replace(in this case charge) the battery. As for comfort, Logitech did a great job focusing on the needs of the intended consumer demographic and created an 'ultra-thin' form factor geared for those who value portability over comfort...not for photoshop editors who really should stick with an ergo mouse meant for comfortable desk use.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For those worried about the lower ratings stating functionality problems continue reading below, as I've seen that a majority of them are a result of poor pre-purchase research, a failure to follow the included directions, or simply thinking a new mouse should adapt to them rather than vice-versa.

From what I'm seeing about other users having line-by-line scrolling issues, horizontal scrolling issues, and touch functionality problems it is obvious to me that they ignored reading the instructions and did not install the Logitech Setpoint software.

Speed of scrolling is set standard to 3-lines. As a result the scrolling tends not to be as fluid as most people are used to when switching from an analog scroll wheel. This can easily be adjusted by changing the settings to the 1-line option under scroll settings. Inertial scrolling( what you experience with swiping on a touch device) is enabled as a default but can also be disabled if you wish/are used to using larger finger motions. As for touch functionality, I was also a little irked at first being unable to horizontally scroll while on an web browser but later realized that I also overlooked disabling the option that limits single finger horizontal touch to only browser back/forwards when on a web browser. I disabled this and can now easily horizontally scroll at all times with one finger touch and browser back/forward with two fingers.

Hope this over the top review shows how much this mouse has added to my mobile work, and as a result made me absolutely satisfied with this product.
