Ordered these protectors when the moto x first came out. Felt nice but the cut/shape was not right. Partially covered the bottom mic. Anyways, the company saw my review and they sent me an email the issue had been fixed and all the users who had receive the old screen were sent 3 new corrected screen protectors. Got my 3 and put one on and it fits perfect. Love the feel of these, they are not gummy like the competition. Great screen protectors from a great company.

These protectors are vastly superior to what came with my Moto X. They cover the whole screen, are cut out perfectly to expose all of the sensors. Some other brands fail to expose the ambient light sensor to the left of the earpiece which might make your phone dim the display more than it should if you have the phone set to automatic brightness.
The protectors also have a protective film on both sides - one that you remove before installation (the one on the "phone side" of the film) and one that you remove after installation (on the "out side" of the film). The one you remove after installation protects the protector if you use a plastic smoothing card to prevent bubbles during the install. One note - the little tabs on the discard protective films both say "peel off before applying" - that's not right - you'd peel off the "Step 1" film before applying and peel off the "Step 2" film after applying.
In my opinion the screen protectors are the perfect thickness. Some are so thick that they leave an annoying ridge at the edge of the protector. Others are so thin I don't think they'd do much to protect the screen from a ding.
These are also crystal clear. Since they are a clear protector and not a matte protector they are going to show finger smudges, etc. - there's no way around that but to go with a matte protector. In my opinion putting a matte protector on an X defeats the whole purpose of having such a crisp, sharp display.
One reviewer commented about dust. Like any protector, if you get dust under these you'll have a bubble. The way I avoid that is to use a spray duster (like you get for a computer keyboard etc.) to spray the area I'll work in and make it dust free. The protector generates a static charge when you peel the film off and if there is any dust in the area it will be drawn to your protector. Then I clean the screen with a lint free wipe and 91% alcohol. You can use the cloth that comes with the protectors but I use the ones that you buy at an optometry shop. Get all the oil and smudges and crud off the screen. Clean it several times if necessary until it is spotless. Then use the air duster to blow the screen off and make sure it's clear, and dust the surrounding area one last time.
When I apply the protector I apply it long edge first. If you apply short edge first it's hard not to get it crooked. I don't peel the whole protective film off at once. I peel the film back part way along the long edge, and then preposition and reposition the long edge until it is exactly at the edge of the glass and perfectly straight. Then squeegee the protector on working from the middle of the film to the top and bottom edges to keep bubbles out as you also work from the protector on from the left side of the phone to the right, peeling the protective film back from the underside as you go. It's hard to explain - a video would work better. Enjoy!

These screen protectors fit the Motorola Moto X perfectly. Once the protector is placed on the screen it adheres well and will not move around. Before I applied mine, I cleaned the screen on my phone with a touch screen wipe (not supplied) then wiped it down with the micro fiber cloth which is supplied. It is important to eliminate any dust that's on the screen before putting a protector on. Dust will cause bubbles between the protector and the screen.
The protector has 2 layers that need to be removed while placing it on the screen of your phone. An easy way to eliminate dust is to peel back just a little on the upper left corner of the inside layer on the protector. Place the small exposed portion of the protector on your phones screen and make sure it is lined up with rest of the screen. Slowly finish peeling on the inside layer of the protector while at the same time attaching it to your phone. Putting the protector on this way will eliminate the chances of dust provided you are doing this in a clean area. Once the protector is attached you can smooth out any bubbles with the edge of a credit card. Once any bubbles are out then remove the outer layer of the protector and you're good to go.
My advice is to use this method when putting this screen protector on your phone. If you peel back the inner protective layer all at once then try putting it on your screen, the static electricity will attract dust onto the protector and it won't adhere properly and it will look terrible. Don't waste a protector. Take my word for it. If done right, you can't even tell you have a protector on your phone.
These protectors are a small price to pay to keep your phone safe and looking new. I imagine with normal use, this pack, which includes 3 protectors, will last a very long time. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it.
